Technical Info

The software

eMagCreator is a program in two modules. One part is the ”Creator” that processes the converting from PDF to eMags. The other part is the ”Reader” which shows the converted files in a browser.

The Creator loads the pdf-file and presents a broad variety of customization features (colours, logo, chapters, menus, etc.) to be set for the final eMag. The settings of the eMag are saved in an XML-document, a series of jpegs and swf-files, which the reader program can display off- or online.

For optimal value of your eMagCreator, we recommend that you meet the following performance requirements:

the ability to upload entire folders via your CMS system.
  • A program to upload via FTP (We recommend Internet Explorer 6.0+ or 7.0)

Hosting

The eMag folders can be hosted on most common web servers from Apache (NAME), and Microsoft (IIS).
All distributors of eMagCreator are willing to provide hosting at low cost.
